Beekeeping 101 Class #9 on October 9, 2022

This will be the final class of 2022. NO protective gear is required.

This month, Beekeeping 101 will be held at The Valley Hive.

  • Parking: Please park on Topanga Cyn Blvd (no parking restrictions on Sundays)

  • Class will begin @ 9am and last approx. 3 hours.

  • Class Topic:

    • Our Volunteers will be sharing things about beekeeping that they find interesting and/or necessary to their beekeeping journey. Some topics might include:

      • Culling frames and cleaning out a dead out hive

      • Working with Africanized hives

      • Mead Making

      • Honey tasting from around the world

      • What to do with beeswax
