Club Sponsor Membership (A business with voting privileges) $45: REQUIREMENTS - Renewing member, volunteered a minimum of 5 hours during the previous year, attended at least 6 monthly meetings during the previous year, agrees to ethical and responsible beekeeping practices.

We are so happy that you have decided to renew your membership! Please verify that you have satisfied all of the requirements to be a CLUB SPONSOR Member (with voting privileges) before you choose this option. If you have not satisfied ALL of the requirements, your membership will be changed to a Non-Voting member status and your beekeeping business services will be removed from our website. Having your business listed on www.losangelescountybeekeepers.com is a privilege, not a right, and can be removed at any time by the board of directors.

To be a club sponsor member there are a few requirements that you MUST have satisfied during the previous membership year:

1. You understand that a club sponsor (voting) membership with this association is a privilege, not a right, and LACBA expects all members to practice responsible and ethical beekeeping according to academic and commercially accepted best management practices.

2. You must have been a paid member during the previous year (if this is your first time signing up for a membership or if you let your membership lapse, please sign up for a Non-Voting Membership).

3. You must have completed 5 hours of volunteer hours during the previous year.

4. You must be an active participant in the association. This association only progresses and improves when everyone is engaged. The best way to keep up with what is going on is by attending the monthly meetings. If you haven’t attended 6 meeting during the previous year, please sign up for a Non-Voting membership.

Once again, we are very excited that you value your membership enough to sign up for another year. Without you, the Los Angeles Beekeepers’ Association would not be the same. With the new year starting there are many ways you can participate and shape our organization into a place that you want to be a part of for many years to come. We ask you to consider if there is a new way you can get involved. Please consider lending your talent and ideas toward any of the following committees within this association. Please don’t forget, if you would like to be eligible to be a club sponsor member (with voting privileges) next year, you will need to complete 5 hours of volunteer participation this year.

Membership is based on a calendar year (January to December), and will not renew automatically.
You will need to join each year.
